Attempts to connect to an MR-VAV-AX and make a change has no effect.

Issue Attempts to connect to an MR-VAV-AX and make a change has no effect. Looking at the MCU Configuration, the address shows to be communicating, but the Communications show a lot of bad CRCs or No Reply.  Environment I/NET site Cause Variety of causes, check below to troubleshoot. Resolution There are a couple of things that you need to look at: Verify that the controller has a proper power supply and it is grounded properly. Verify that it is communicating to the MRI properly and there are no shorts or anything on the Sub-LAN wire. After checking these, go back to the MCU Configuration and look at the comm. Stats again, if these are still showing bad CRC’s or No Reply then the unit (MR-VAV) itself may be bad and would have to be replaced.

Environment Niagara G3 (all versions) Cause A newer release of an installed module corrects known issues. Resolution Make a copy of the module and rename the extension from .jar to .zip. Issue Can Cyberstation setup and configure 3rd party BACnet devices. Product Line TAC IA Series, Andover Continuum Environment Cyberstation BACnet I/A Series MNB-1000 Cause It is desirable to configure all products from the same software. Resolution Cyberstation and the BACnet protocol do not allow you to do basic setup and configuration of 3rd party devices, most products will have their own configuration software or local display/ keypads for setup. Data samples displayed in Report Server are a day (or more) behind

Issue Data samples displayed in Report Server are a day (or more) behind Inconsistent / erratic data transfer from Enterprise Server to Report Server. Environment SmartStruxure 1.4.1, 1.5.0 Report Server Cause Due to large amount of Extended logs (100+) which have been collecting data for a week or more, the amount of data that needs to be transferred can be quite large and can take some time to transfer over. Resolution Transfer time can take up to 8 to 16 hours depending on amount of trends and data that needs to be transferred.   It is best to read the Report Agent Log (located here C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\StruxureWareReports\StruxureWare Reporting Agent\StruxureWareReportingAgentLog) and look at the comments in this file which indicate number records transferred or still to be transferred.   It should be noted that restarting the Reporting Agent or Enterprise Server services will re-initiate this delayed update.  R&D are aware of these delays and are working to improve this performance in future releases. If you feel that the data is taking longer than 24 hours to update then please contact PSS for further analysis.

Issue How to display the currently configured access level for all User objects without having to open each User individually. (logon security groups) Environment Continuum Cyberstation Cause Want to see the access level for all User objects at the same time but unfortunately this attribute is not viewable in a ListView of all User objects. Select "Send To -> Text File..." and provide a file name. In the resulting dump file you will see that the KeyRings attribute shows the enabled groups in binary encoded hexadecimal. acctrace is not creating the .csv file or change the path to the file

Issue Change the path of acctrace .csv file Environment Continuum Windows XP Windows Vista Windows 7 Windows Server 2003 Windows Server 2008 Cause There are permission restrictions to the Continuum folder or there is a need to change the path to the acctrace .csv output file. Resolution If permissions are restricted to Continuum, you can change the path to this file. A good troubleshooting step is to send the file to c:\temp When starting acctrace there is a field called "Filename for trace output:" To change the path for the .csv file add the path in the field called "Filename for trace output:" Ex. C:\Temp\ACCTrace_datetime.csv   (leave the actual datetime that the program creates and only add the path C:\Temp ahead of the filename) * On a Windows7 PC, the User Account Control changes the default path where files are created by ACCTrace. If Continuum is installed on the C drive, look in the following path for the trace file that is created: c:\users\username\appdata\local\virtualstore\program files\continuum

What is the Continuum 1.94 feature 'Editable SQL Admin Credential' as stated in the release notes?

Issue What is the Continuum 1.94 feature 'Editable SQL Admin Credential' as stated in the release notes? Environment Continuum Cyberstation v1.94 Cause No explanation in the Release Notes or Product Announcement to explain what this new feature actually does. Resolution This new feature, is a change that allows a system to use an SQL admin account other than the SA account (built-in SQL system administrator account) to create a Continuum Database. In older version of Continuum this could only be accomplished with the SA account. Now in Database Initialization, you have the option to select the SQL Admin user that you wish to use with the added Admin Username field. As per the image below.

How to Open the Point Extension of an I/NET point in the TGML Graphic after Converted into SmartStruxure?

Issue How to open the point extension of an I/NET point in the TGML graphic after converted into SmartStruxure, like Calculation, Event Sequence, Time Schedule etc.? Environment SmartStruxure Solution 1.4.1 and above I/NET 2.44a to I/NET 2.48 Cause Calculation, Event Definition or Time Schedule need to be changed in the TGML graphics Resolution Since I/NET 2.44a, there is a new option called "Right Click Menu" in the INET graphics to TGML converter. Select this option, convert the graphic, and right click on the point converted in TGML graphic, then a pop-up window will make it possible to add/modify Calculation, Event Definition, Time Schedule etc. Please note, the added right click options will only function when the graphics page is located on an Enterprise Server where a copy of I/NET is installed on the local Workstation.  This feature on converted graphic functions as a link to the I/NET software so will not work when that software is not locally available.  It is therefore not available when using WebStation or when viewing graphics located within a SmartX Server. From I/NET version 2.49, this right click menu option will NO LONGER be available
