Use the power of a global Community to quickly find answers to your toughest business challenges. We celebrate the diversity of global communities where you can interact in your niche or with the industry at large. Network and find experts to co-create solutions, find answers to your toughest business challenges, and offer your insights as an industry leader.
Schneider Electric Communities are created by our business organizations for their customers, partners or other enthusiasts. We welcome anyone interested in IoT energy management and automation solutions, and ask that you please observe these community guidance:
Be respectful
Respect people's time and attention by asking well-thought-out questions and sharing what you've learned so far in your experimentation or prior research. Respect people as individuals by keeping your tone positive and your comments constructive.
Be relevant
Make sure your contributions are relevant to the mission of the community, to the specific discussion style and topic where you post. Please do not post duplicate messages in different areas of the community to avoid fragmenting discussion. If you have a new question, start a new thread rather than interrupting a conversation. Solicitations are rarely relevant. If you have something you want members to join, participate in, or buy, ask us first.
Keep your word
Don't post anything that would violate any contractual agreements (copyright, trade secret or otherwise) or nondisclosure agreements to which you are a party.
Protect privacy - Yours & others'
Don't share anything about yourself or your organization that you would not want to see on a road-side billboard. Don't post personal information - your own or anyone else's - including contact information or any content that you receive in one-to-one communications without the author's consent.
Remember, this is user-generated content
You'll find plenty of good advice here, but remember that your situation, configuration, or implementation may vary from that of the individual sharing a solution. Some advice you find here may even be inaccurate. Apply the same good judgment here that you would apply to information anywhere on the Internet.
Respect copyright & other relevant laws
Respect copyright and other applicable laws by not linking to or posting materials that you do not have proper authorization to share. We will remove content that shows:
- gratuitous violence or glorify violence
- hate speech and discrimination
- attacks on private people
- selling or buying of regulated goods, like drugs, alcohol, tobacco, firearms and other hazardous materials
Search for the answer before your ask
Search is the quickest way to locate the information you are after, use the search bar of the Community. If you don’t find the information you are looking for, you can always post your own question.
These best practices will help you get the most out of the Community:
Fill-in your profile
Tell us more about yourself. This helps other members with similar interests to get to know you.
Think of a descriptive title
A clear, concise title will help others to easily understand the subject you want to address, click into your post, and answer quickly. This also helps users with similar questions, allowing them to search the Community and find the answer.
Provide background information
It’s difficult to answer questions that are not clear. Make sure that you provide context and background information for the solution you are looking for. That will ensure that you get the most relevant answer from the community members.
Finding your posts
You’ll be able to find all your questions and comments on your profile page. Your profile page is the place where other members can also see information about you, such as your posts, likes, badges earned and much more.
The Schneider Electric Logo & Schneider Electric Employees
You will notice that some community members have a Schneider Electric logo next to their names - this means they are Schneider Electric employees. Like you, they are members of the community around Schneider Electric products, and we encourage them to share their knowledge and opinions here.
Report inappropriate content for review
If you recognize any violation of these guidelines, please notify us within the community by choosing "Report Inappropriate Content" from the message's Options menu and let us know why you feel the content is inappropriate. Schneider Electric will not tolerate and will delete the communication of any post or comment that:
- are defamatory, indecent, hateful, racist, xenophobic, homophobic, sexist, disgraceful, vulgar or inappropriate
- encourage or suggest illegal activity, announcements from labor or political organizations and unintelligible or irrelevant posts.
