101-VF/24 (Fan coil controller) allowing positive terminal load with cool air supply and one valve for heat.

Issue 101-VF/24 (Fan coil controller) allowing positive terminal load with cool air supply and one valve for heat. Product Line TAC Vista Environment 101-VF/24 101-2VF 101-2VFC Cause If you have a single valve application such as radiant heat control, but you have a central system that brings in fresh/cooled air to the same space, you may want to use the terminal load in the central system to indicate a call for cooling. Resolution If you only configure the controller for one valve and set the water temperature and water temperature setpoint to only allow heating operation, then the terminal load will only be calculated from 0 to -100% (heating only). Nvo_unitStatus will stay in heat mode as well even if the room gets too hot. If you configure it up for two valves then your terminal load will be calculated from 100 to -100%, indicating both heating and cooling load.

Is there a way to allow users station access, through a browser or JDE, in Niagara R2, without having to first sign-on without a user name and password?

Issue Is there a way to allow users station access, through a browser or JDE, in Niagara R2, without having to first sign-on without a user name and password? Environment Niagara R2 Cause Enable "Public Access" feature to bypass sign on.  Resolution Yes. Starting with Niagara release 2.3, a “public access” feature was added. Allowable objects that can be Imported / Exported in StruxureWare Building Operation

Issue When importing shortcuts the following warning/error occur WARNING: The property, Target, xxxxxxxx, which has been ignored. Binding Limitations across multi-server configurations Environment SmartStruxure 1.2 / 1.3 Cause Building Operation does not import bindings in a multi-server scenario. If bindings are included in an exported solution, Building Operation displays a warning that the references were not created during an import. Therefore, you must manually recreate referenced bindings: From the Enterprise Server to a value on an Automation Server From an Automation Server to a value on the Enterprise Server From an Automation Server to a value on another Automation Server As a shortcut is basically a binding between two objects, then this holds true in this instance. Resolution Although bindings can be created (hence shortcuts created) across multi-server environments once you export these objects and then attempt to import these at later time or import across a different server, these bindings will be removed. The import process will provide a message "WARNING: The property, Target, , which has been ignored"; these objects are listed in the warning box.  A "Copy to clipboard" option is available so that these can be copied to Notepad (or similar) and then manually re-entered. Refer to the following help topic (you will need to login to the Online help to view this information). http://help.sbo.schneider-electric.com/topics/show.castle?id=5528&locale=en-US&productversion=1.3&a=1

Unable to set the units in Function Block and Menta Editor programming to the "blank" option

Environment Function Block Programming Cause In TAC Vista Menta, the first option in the list of units for a function block is just a blank field. The blank field means that there is no unit type selected. Function Block and Menta Editor programming in SmartStruxure do not have a blank field that can be selected.
