If a site upgrades a synchronous dial site to asynch, what do they need to replace?
Resolution
Replace:
- the boot chips of the devices with modems connected
- the bin files of those devices
- maybe the modems themselves. You can try to use the Hayes modems in an asynch fashion but if you have problems be ready to replace them with US Robotics modems.
