Do not share a 24vac transformer between a 7798 and a 7910 or 7920 DPU

Issue Can I share a 24 VAC Transformer with a 7798 and a 7910 or 7920 DPU? Environment 7798 7910 DPU 7920 DPU Cause The 7798 is a half wave DC board and the DPUs are full wave boards. The grounding is different and this will cause power problems that will destroy the 7798. Resolution You will burn up the 7798 board if you put it on the same transformer as a 7910 or 7920 DPU.

Resolution Check that the space temperature has met the cooling/heating target temperature sometime after the optimized start time in order for the OSTART to work properly.

Resolution The site can set up a temperature control extension. Then only populate the setup and setback temperatures. These are the only temperatures you put differentials on. The rest of the temperatures leave at the default values.

This box is located in the I/O Server driver. Resolution Edit the I/O Server configuration Check the access box Log out of I/NET Log back and the access is now available.

Issue Deleting doors in the access control editor Environment I/NET Site with Access Control Cause Deleting doors in the access control editor Resolution When deleting a door from a 7791 DPI, 7793 MCI or a 7798 I/Site LAN, make sure to delete the door Parameters before deleting the door (DO) point. Deleting the door (DO) point without previously deleting the door Parameters may cause unpredictable system performance. If the point has already been deleted first, the best way is to: Re-add the point again Save it in the NetCon Follow the correct sequence. Then it will work fine.

Issue Second door reader (09 Door) does not work on 7920 controller Environment 7920 DPU Cause If you have defined one door in a DPU-7920, and the door's exit reader parameter is set to anything besides NO, then the second reader port automatically becomes the exit reader. Resolution If you have defined two doors in a DPU 7920, neither door can have an exit reader defined. Set the door's exit reader parameter to NO.

This is for safety purposes; you should always be able to exit a building.

Resolution A DPU cannot be added on an existing 7792 Sublan.  To correct this: Do a Memory Clear on the controller with a HHC. With the HHC, change the controller to a 7793. This will allow you to have MRs, ASCs And DPUs on the same SubLAN.

Resolution Yes, although we do not recommend that you do this, it is possible. You will need to first partition your hard drive. After you have created two partitions, you will need to install a version of windows on each partition. One of the partitions will have to be WinNT with NT being installed first. This way you can have I/Net 1.20 on C:\ and I/Net 2.10 on D:\. The two versions of I/Net 200 cannot share a Windows registry.
