Can I add a DPU on an existing 7792 Sublan?
Environment
- 7910 DPU
- 7920 DPU
- 7792 SubLAN
Cause
The 7792 are for MRs and ASCs only.
Resolution
A DPU cannot be added on an existing 7792 Sublan.
To correct this:
- Do a Memory Clear on the controller with a HHC.
- With the HHC, change the controller to a 7793.
- This will allow you to have MRs, ASCs And DPUs on the same SubLAN.
