In Niagara R2, device objects are not updating. Bundles were used to speed the linking to graphics.

Issue In Niagara R2, device objects are not updating. Bundles were used to speed the linking to graphics. Environment Niagara R2 Cause The device objects are in bundles. Resolution Only native Niagara objects should be placed in bundles. This includes the Niagara AO, BO, AI, BI, and logic (if desired). Due to the nature of bundles they execute at their own rate. This interferes with the normal execution of BACnet, LON, GCM, ASD, DMS, MS and other hardware objects. For additional information on the use of bundles refer to The Standard Reference Manual pages 7-14 through 7-21 and pages 5-1 through 5-6 of the Web Solutions Guide.

Sigma – IC3-SNP Integration Controller Displays Incorrect Negative Values

Issue Negative values presented to an IC3-SNP Integration Controller are incorrectly displayed starting at 65535, rather than their true negative representation. Product Line Satchwell BAS & Sigma Environment Sigma IC3-SNP Cause The IC3-SNP Integration Controller miscalculates negative values due to limitations in its internal value handling logic. Resolution To resolve this issue, a custom Lookup Table must be created and assigned to the Analogue Input object within Sigma. Follow these steps: Step-by-Step Instructions Create a Lookup Table Open Sigma System Manager. Navigate to System Setup. Create a new Lookup Table using the configuration below. Assign the Lookup Table Edit the Analogue Input object. Assign the newly created Lookup Table number. Select Download Object. Download the Lookup Table Open Sigma System Diagnostics. Download the Lookup Table to the IC3-SNP controller. Lookup Table Configuration If values are presented in whole numbers: Input Output 0 0 32767 3276.7 32768 -3276.8 65535 -0.1 If values are presented with a ×10 factor, adjust the table accordingly. Additional Notes Ensure the Lookup Table matches the scaling of incoming values. This workaround corrects the display issue but does not change the underlying controller logic.

Adjusting setpoint on the SXWSC3XSELXX

Issue Adjusting the setpoint from the SXWSC3XSELXX device. Product Line EcoStruxure Building Operation Environment Building Operation SmartX Living Space Sensor. Cause SXWSC3XSELXX has plus and minus buttons that could be used for changing setpoint. Resolution Navigate in the System Tree to the Display entry for the SmartX Sensor. Go to the Button and Scene Configuration tab under Properties. Scroll down to Front Menu Button Configuration, change Button 1 function to Change temperature setpoint. Select the tab Advanced, and scroll down to the Feature Control Settings. Set Allow setpoint changes to On. Set max and min limits for the setpoint under Setpoint high limit an Setpoint low limit.   When the plus or minus button is pressed, the Setpoint will change in steps. The size of the steps depends on the difference between the Setpoint high limit and low limit, divided by 10 (when using SI units). In the example above, the difference  between the Setpoint high limit and low limit is 28-18 = 10, so the Setpoint will be changed in step of 1 degree C.

Report Server Agent historical reads fail intermittently

Issue The historical reads will fail from time to time due to process data failure Environment Report Server 1.6.0 and below Cause This is due to the ValueAfter and ValueBefore column in the tbEvents table of Reports db. ValueAfter and ValueBefore Columns were designed as float datatype, When the Reporting Agent tries to convert the NeuronId of a LonWorks device (which is one of the data for ValueAfter and Valuebefore Columns) as a float then this issue occurs. Due to this Reporting Agent will trigger the ES Read again. Resolution With the change of ValueAfter and ValueBefore to nVarChar datatype, the issue gets solved. These changes are included in Web reports 1.6.1.

RAM - SMS Messages Are Truncated

Issue When the Remote Alarm Manager (RAM) sends an SMS message via GSM modem to a mobile phone, the message is truncated—the end portion of the message is missing. Product Line Satchwell BAS & Sigma, Satchwell MicroNet Environment Remote Alarm Manager Cause The issue occurs due to the length of the message being sent. SMS messages have a character limit of 160 characters. If the message exceeds this limit, it may be truncated or not delivered in full, depending on the mobile carrier and device. This is especially common when: The message type is set to Long Message (multi-line descriptive format). The Index Title or Point Title used in the message is excessively long. Resolution To prevent message truncation, consider the following actions: Use Shorter Message Types: Change the message type from Long Message to Normal or Short Message. Shorten Titles: Abbreviate long Index or Point Titles. Example: Change "Temperatures" to "Temps" . Review Message Content: Ensure the total message length does not exceed 160 characters.

Product Line Satchwell BAS & Sigma, Satchwell MicroNet, TAC Vista Environment Remote Alarm Manager Cause This behavior is expected. Running multiple BACnet Applications on same Windows machine

Issue BACnet requires applications to listen on the same port across the IP subnet to receive BACnet discovery broadcasts. Two applications running on the same machine can not use the same port as the Listening Port. Product Line EcoStruxure Building Operation, Continuum, TAC I/A Series Environment Building Operation Enterprise Server I/A Series WorkPlace Tech Continuum Cyberstation Cause The site can not provide a separate machine or VM for each BACnet application, which is recommended for independent operation. Resolution With this configuration, one application will act as BBMD to receive and distribute BACnet Broadcast Messages. The other application will act as a Foreign Device, relying on BBMD to relay BACnet Broadcast messages. Once BACnet devices and the Application, configured as Foreign Device, have shared their IP and Port, messages between them will be unicast and will not pass through the BBMD. Ensure one application can be configured as a BACnet BBMD and the other as a Foreign Device. Configure one as BBMD, usually EBO Enterprise Server Configure the other application as a Foreign Device referencing the BBMD IP and Port
