Remote Alarm Manager 2.0 Starts in Demo Mode

Issue

After installing and launching Remote Alarm Manager 2.0 (RAM 2.0) for the first time, the application starts in Demo mode, providing only a 2-hour trial period.

Cause

This behavior is expected. RAM 2.0 enters Demo mode by default upon initial startup because it has not yet detected a valid license.

Resolution

To exit Demo mode and activate the full version of RAM 2.0:

1. Create the Input Interface (e.g., Sigma R4).
2. Once the interface is created, RAM 2.0 will:
   • Detect the customer’s dongle or
   • Read the engineer’s PC ID code (if applicable).
3. Upon successful detection, the software will exit Demo mode and operate under the licensed configuration.
