What is the default password for a MicroNet LCD?

Issue What is the default password for a MicroNet LCD? Environment MicroNet controllers Cause Access level Resolution Default password: -                  1234 It is worth noting that this password can be changed when programming. With the 100 series range of MicroNet controllers a backup of the controller configuration would be required to identify the password if it has been changed from the default. With the 50 series range of MicroNet controllers when the controller configuration is uploaded the LCD configuration should also be uploaded, the passwords can be found under properties when you are in the configuration LCD area.

Possible solution to doing a Telnet session with a system wide firewall setup.

Issue Is there a way to use firewalls to stop routing tables from being delivered? For example, can you shut down port 50069 to prevent routing tables from updating while you cleared device routing tables? Product Line TAC INET Environment I/NET Seven Network with system-wide ethernet Cause There are bogus entries in the Routing tables in the PCs and NPRs in the I/NET system. Resolution Blocking the port will certainly stop I/O servers and NPRs from sharing their routing tables.  The real problem, though, is in getting all devices cleared before you open the port back up. The following would be a reasonable approach to clearing a routing table system from a desk, if the customer does not want to go to each location. Ask the IT department to block port 50069 for each device on the network Telnet into each NPR or Xenta 527 and PC to clear the routing table using the DELALL command Correct Reference Host settings Ask the IT department to open port 50069 to each device on the network after you have cleared all sites. Please note that all of the devices have to be cleared before the firewall is taken down.  If you have one of the devices offline at the time of the cleaning, you could re-populate the deleted routing table again. Another option would be to firewall port 50069 between segments of the network to ensure only part of I/NET was visible to specific regions.

Alarms stop being routed to the Sigma Server after an extended period of computer inactivity.

Issue Alarms stop being routed to the Sigma Server after an extended period of computer inactivity. All alarms will start to register on the Sigma Server once a user accesses any point in the Sigma System Manager. Environment Sigma version 4.04 (build 3.41.14) Windows XP Cause The Sigma Server computer network interface card Power Management was set to 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power'. Resolution The power management setting 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' for the network interface card needs to be unchecked.  This can be achieved by performing the following steps: Select the properties of the Local Area Connection physically connected to the Sigma network. On the 'General' tab, there is a field that says 'Connect using:'. Click on 'Configure' to configure your network card. In the Network card properties, go to the 'Power Management' tab and uncheck 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.'

Control the output values of a Time Schedule in XBuilder (set to something other than 0/1)

Issue Time schedules appear to be working backwards. Time schedule that controls occupancy of a LonWorks unit is not controlling properly. The unit is unoccupied instead of occupied. Time schedule outputs need to be reversed to control I/NET points where 0 and 1 may not be off/on. Environment Xenta Server Xenta 511, 527, 555, 701, 711, 721, 731, 913 XBuilder Cause SNVT_Occupancy has the following values: 0 - Occupied 1 - UnOccupied 2 - ByPass 3 - StandBy If the time object does not use the correct default and active values then the wrong value will be sent from the time schedule. I/NET controls with the "first of the pair, second of the pair" which may require a 0 to be ON and a 1 to be OFF. Resolution Modify the Time Object for a SNVT_occupancy: In the Show Other Properties editor change the default value to 1 (Unoccupied). In each time event change the Active Value on the Other tab to 0 (Occupied). If edited offline, generate the project and send to the target.

Issue Personnel fail to distribute to controller, controller offline error displays in Distribution View, and controller's error log displays 0x00007402 (ACC_TCP_FAIL_CONNECTING_SOCKET) error. Environment Cyberstation Netcontroller Netcontroller II CX9702 ACX5720, ACX5740 Cause The 0x00007402 error corresponds to an issue with the TCP stack on the controller indicating the controller has had a problem re-establishing a TCP connection. The "Transport  Type" has been changed from the default UDP to TCP. Resolution Change "Transport Type" back to UDP and re-attempt Personnel download. Open Controller Device object and go to "Network" tab. In "Transport Type" field, change TCP to UDP. Re-attempt Personnel download.

BACnet Schedule goes into Fault and shows a value of "ConfigurationError" in its Reliability field.

Issue After modifying a BACnet Schedule it goes into Fault with its Reliability field showing "ConfigurationError". Environment Continuum, BACnet Schedule Object Cause When a user logs into Continuum with a User that does not have view rights to the InfinityController object, the schedule object used is the Infinity Schedule instead of the expected BACnet Schedule. The Infinity Schedule uses Active/Inactive for its TimeValue entries instead of the default 1/0 that the BACnet Schedule object uses. When a value is set as Active/Inactive, the Schedule is unable to interpret this value and goes into fault.  Resolution Make sure that any User that needs to modify BACnet Schedules has view rights to the InfinityController object enabled. Remove all TimeValue Entries that are Active/Inactive, replace with valid entries, save Schedule.

The Drop down box for Comm1 only has Autoset and Printer options. Environment bCX1 Controllers, X Drivers, X-Drivers, XDrivers Cause When the bCX1 was first released as supported by V1.70 Cyberstation it did not support X Drivers.   Resolution Cyberstation V1.70 and above support all bCX1 controllers (bCX1 9640, 4040 & 4000). The bCX1-CR (4040) did not initially support X Drivers, this feature was added in Cyberstation V1.82 and required a minimum firmware in the bCX1-CR (4040) of V4.500047 (see Compatibility Matrix). Environment CyberStation CX9702 CX9900 CX968x ACX57xx ACX7xx IOU Modules AC1, AC1A, AC1Plus Cause Need a way to determine which side of a dual reader door a valid access event has taken place.
