Issue Which actuator is suitable for valve VGS211F? Environment VGS211F: VGS211F-15CS04 VGS211F-15CS05 VGS211F-15CS07 VGS211F-15CS08 VGS211F-20CS VGS211F-25CS VGS211F-32CS VGS211F-40CS VGS211F-50CS VGS211F-65CS VGS211F-80CS VGS211F-100CS Forta: M700 MG900SR M800 M1500/MV15B M3000 Cause Application assistance. Resolution Depending on application, the Forta range actuators are suitable: M700, MG900SR, M800, M1500/MV15B, M3000. For more information ad details, please see the VGS211F data sheet.

Issue What grade of stainless steel is used in the Satchwell DWA range of sensor pockets Environment Sensor Pockets DWA Satchwell Cause Customer requires assurance that the stainless steel pockets are the correct grade. Resolution The DWA (Satchwell range) pockets that we sell are made from 316Ti steel. We use 316Ti rather than the 316L because of elevated temperature mechanical strength, pitting corrosion resistance, mechanical polishing and weldability.

Issue Which sensors can be used if mounted directly into the pipe, without pockets? Environment Kamstrup heat cool flow meters Cause In some applications, sensors mounted directly into the pipe, without using pocket, is requested. Resolution Unfortunately, we do only recommend the sensors that are included with the meter package, or ordered as an option with longer cords. All are requiring pockets for proper mounting.

Issue V282 is obsolete and a replacement valve is requested. Environment V282: 7218206000 7218210000 7218214000 7218218000 7218222000 7218226000 7218230000 7218234000 7218238000 7218242000 7218246000 7218250000 V241: 7214106000 7214110000 7214114000 7214118000 7214122000 7214126000 7214130000 7214134000 7214138000 7214142000 7214146000 7214150000 Cause Obsolete valve needs replacement. Resolution The recommended replacement valve for valve model V282 is V241. However, when so is done, pipe work will be necessary to adapt to installation with couplings and dimensions.

Issue V298 is obsolete and needs a replacement Environment V231: 7213106000 7213110000 7213114000 7213118000 7213122000 7213126000 7213130000 7213134000 7213138000 7213142000 7213146000 7213150000 V298: 7219818000 7219822000 7219826000 7219830000 7219834000 7219838000 7219442000 7219846000 Cause Obsolete valve needs replacement Resolution V298 valves can be replaced by valves from the V231 family. For more details, please see the data sheets for each valve model. Please note that the V298 closes with stem down, while V231 closes with the stem up.

Issue Which replacement gland kit is suitable for the VZ, VZF, VSF valves? Environment VZ, VZF, VSF 626-9-203 667-9-201 626-9-311 Cause Replacement for worn out components Resolution For VZ, all sizes, use: 626-9-203 For VSF 15, 20, 25mm, use: 626-9-203 For VSF 32-50mm, use: 667-9-201 For VZF 65-150mm, use: 626-9-311 For more information and details, please see the data sheets.

Issue I'm looking for a part number for the ATV 21 Variable Speed Drive but it does not appear on the part number list Environment ATV 21 ATV 212 Altivar Variable Speed Drive Cause Part number has been discontinued Resolution There is now a new name for the ATV 21 Variable Speed Drive as this old version has now been updated The new name for the ATV 21 is ATV 212 or Altivar 212 the below is a link to the Schneider Electric web site where all documentation, part numbers, distributors and Support can be found Altivar 212

Issue If the actuator is closing in the wrong direction, how can that be changed? Environment Forta series actuator: M300 M400 M750 M800 M1500 M3000 Cause Depending on application, you may want to change the direction of the actuator movement. Resolution Invert the control signal by changing dip switch no 7 settings. For changes to take affect, the power supply needs to cycled or the manual operation handle needs to be lowered and raised back to normal position.
