Issue If the actuator is closing in the wrong direction, how can that be changed? Environment Forta series actuator: M300 M400 M750 M800 M1500 M3000 Cause Depending on application, you may want to change the direction of the actuator movement. Resolution Invert the control signal by changing dip switch no 7 settings. For changes to take affect, the power supply needs to cycled or the manual operation handle needs to be lowered and raised back to normal position.

Issue Manual override lever / handle is missing or broke. What is the part no for replacement? Environment VTRE Cause Broken / missing handle Resolution Unfortunately, the manual override handle is not available as a spare part. It only comes delivered together with the valve.

Issue Does the short yoke Forta actuators fit on the current portfolio of valves?  Environment MG600C Venta Forta Cause With the new short stroke actuator MG600C soon available, will it work with the regular valves? Resolution The MG600C is designed to be used with the VG210R / VG310R valves that will be released in the near future. 

Issue LNS Plug-in for Viconics Thermostats Environment LNS NL220 Lonmaker Cause It is necessary to configure the Viconics VT7000 series controllers with an LNS Plug-in Resolution Download the latest Viconics Plug-in Here. Additional Information on the Viconics product offering can be found at http://www.viconics.com/.

Issue Can the gaskets included in the connection kits be ordered / purchased separately? Environment V241 V241 Venta Connection kit gasket Cause Gasket replacement requested if lost or worn out. Resolution Unfortunately the gasket part of the connection kit is not available separately and this can only be ordered as a complete kit.  

Issue The Forta M300 is no longer available and needs to be replaced. Environment TAC Forta M300: 8800210000 M310: 8800210010 8800210020 8800210030 Cause old actuator no longer available and is replaced by revised version. Resolution The Forta M300, part no 8800210000, is replaced by Fort M310, part no 8800210030.

Issue Application requires a steam valve capable of 7 Bar pressure. Environment VG211 VGS211F V231 Cause application requirement Resolution The VG211 and VGS211F is specified for max 6 Bar ∆Pm. V231 is specified for med 8 Bar ∆Pm (saturated water), but with a max media temp of 120°C.

Issue Does the operation/accuracy of the 4-20mA Humidity sensor deteriorate over time? Environment SHR100 SHD100 Cause Accuracy deterioration over time? Resolution The documented deterioration/inaccuracy after 5 years is < ± 3% RH. For more details, see the data sheet for each sensor model respectively.

Issue Do we have any leakage detection sensor in the Buildings portfolio? Environment Fluid leakage detection sensor Veris LD / SD Cause Request for leakage sensor Resolution No such sensor is available in the Buildings Sensor portfolio. However, Veris might cover this with their Leak detection sensor family. For more details, please see www.veris.com

Issue Needs a 230V actuator to replace existing actuator on customer installation Environment Forta M800 V211T Cause Application requirement Resolution The Forta M800, part no 8800310030 is suitable as 24V actuator for the V211T.

Issue Schneider Electric part number equivalent to Belimo NM24-US Environment Belimo NM24-US MD10B-24 part no 8751015000 Cause Cross reference for replacement of existing actuator. Resolution The Belimo NM24-US seems to be obsolete. The replacement today would be the MD10B-24, part no 8751015000.

Issue How to measure absolute pressure in an air system? Environment SPD310, SPD360 Cause Only Differential air pressure sensors are listed in the catalogue. Resolution The SPD310 & SPD360 are the only Air Pressure transmitters we have in the Sensors Catalogue, however these should be suitable for measuring pressures most Air based systems. They can be used to measure the differential pressure across fans or dampers, but you can leave one side of the sensor open to the plant room atmospheric pressure and the other side connected in to the duct, that way it will measure the pressure in the duct relative to that days atmospheric pressure. This method will mean the air pressure coming out of the system relative to the room remains constant as atmospheric pressure changes. The SPD360 has the added local LCD display showing the differential pressure in Pascals. Note: There are air pressure switches and meters also available in the catalogue.  

Issue Do we have any UV intensity sensor available in the Schneider Electric portfolio? Environment Ultra violet sensor UV Cause Some applications require a UV intensity sensor. Resolution Unfortunately, no such sensor is currently available in the Schneider Electric offer. If required, it needs to be purchased locally.

Issue Is it possible to configure a SE7200F5545E to be used with an external CO2 sensor input? Environment SE7200F5545E SCD110 Cause Customer requesting a CO2 input and read out of CO2 value. Resolution Unfortunately this is not an option on the SE7200F5545E controller. See SE7600 series where this might be possible in some applications.

Issue Which auxiliary switch is used on with the MV15B actuator? Environment MV15B S2-MV15B 8800469000 Cause Some applications requires an aux switch to the actuator. Resolution The S2-MV15B, part no 8800469000, is the correct auxiliary switch for this application. 

Issue Which valve actuator is the correct choice for V222?  Environment V222 7212254000 7212258000 7212262000 7212266000 7212270000 Forta M22 M50 Cause Suitable actuators for V222 Resolution For V222 DN65 to DN100, the Forta series is the recommended actuator. For V222 DN125 and DN150, M22 or M50 should be used. The Forta series actuator will not fit these valves.

Issue Characteristics may be necessary for some applications. Environment SLO320 006920640 SLR320 006920630 Cause Output characteristics not defined in documentation Resolution SLO320 / SLR320 has 2 light ranges selectable by jumper: 400 Lux and 20 Kilo Lux. Depending on output this means:  400 Lux              - 0-10V -           0 V = 0 Lux, 5 V = 200 Lux, 10 V = 400 Lux                           - 4…20mA-       4mA=0 Lux,12mA=200 Lux, 20mA=400 Lux  20 Kilo Lux         - 0-10V -           0 V  =0 klx, 5 V   =10  klx,  10 V   =20 klx                           - 4…20mA        4mA=0 klx, 12mA=10  klx,  20mA =20 klx

Issue Outside sensor not working on a DC1100 or DC1400 Environment DC1100 DC1400 Cause Outside sensor not working on a DC1100 or DC1400 All wiring and terminations have been checked but the outside air sensor is not working. Resolution On the DC1100 and DC1400, the outside air sensor can be shared between a maximum of 3 controllers. The switch on the rear must be in the up position on one of the controllers. If there is only one controller fitted, the switch on the rear must be in the up position.

Issue   Schneider Electric portfolio replacement actuator for Controlli MVF515 Environment Controlli MVF515 Forta M1500 Cause   A replacement for Controlli MVF515 is requested by customer. Resolution MVF515 is replaced by the Forta M1500. Linkage kit required is depending on application, but should not be necessary when just replacing the actuator.

Issue Part numbers for SVEA Lighting modules. Environment SVEA LON Lighting Cause Part numbers no longer listed. Resolution The SVEA Brand of lighting control products became obsolete as of 1st January 2011. Please see Product Announcement PA-00139.
