Issue There are 2 different packing types available for ordering when choosing connections for the V241/V341 Environment V241 V341 Cause There is a difference in material used in the gaskets included with the connection packages. Resolution The "Packing, std" is a standard type gasket. "Packing, spec" is intended to be used in primary circuit district heating applications. Material in gasket is PTFE.

Issue V355 is obsolete since 2002 Environment V355 VZ22 VZ32 MZ18 MZ10 Cause V354 and V355 was made obsolete in 2002. No direct replacement is available. When replacing the V355, the actuator must also be replaced. Resolution V355 is replaced by a VZ32, or VZ22 (2 port) depending on application. Pipe work is required as the ports are placed differently. Replacing the actuator is also necessary. VZ*2 is using the MZ18 or MZ10 actuator.

Issue Specification on stroke length capacity. Environment M22 M50 Cause Nominal stroke length capacity of the M22 and M50 actuator Resolution The nominal stroke length of the M22/M50 actuators are 30-50mm

Issue spare parts availability Environment SHR100 SHO100 SHD100 Cause Spare parts availability for the humidity sensor in our portfolio Resolution No spare parts are listed or available. The complete sensor needs to be replaced in case of failure.

Issue Unclear information in data sheet Environment SLO320 006920640 SLR320 006920630 Cause During the Schneider Electric data sheet rebranding process, the Current consumption information got unclear. Resolution Current consumption should say: Typical: 0-400lx: 8mA 0-20klx: 13mA

Issue Are there any STD100 spare parts available for ordering? Environment 5123002010 STD100-50 5123004010 STD100-100 5123006010 STD100-150 5123008010 STD100-200 5123010010 STD100-250 5123012010 STD100-300 5123014010 STD100-400 Cause Lost or broken parts needs replacement Resolution No spare / replacement parts are currently available for ordering.

Issue The V395-1 is obsolete and no longer available Environment V395: 7319501000 7319505000 7319509000 7319513000 7319515000 7319519000 V321: 7312153010 7312157010 7312161010 7312165010 7312169010 TAC Forta Cause The V395 valve is obsolete and no spare parts or direct replacement valves are available. Resolution The closest suitable valve is the V321 with a Forta actuator. The "A to AB" measurements are the same, but the "A-AB centerline to B flange" is different. Double check the data sheets for more information and details. Keep in mind that V395-1 is PN25, while the V321 is PN16.

Issue Sensor DEGA is obsolete and no longer available for ordering. Environment DEGA: 00690080 00690543 00691544 00090563 STC300: 006920041 006920061 006920021 Cause Strap-on temperature transmitter with 4-20mA output signal Resolution The STC300 series sensor is replacing the DEGA series. Make sure to choose the appropriate sensor range for your application.

Issue Is it possible to use the current Forta series actuator on the old V395 valve? Environment V395: 7319501000 7319505000 7319509000 7319513000 7319515000 7319519000 TAC Forta Cause Forta application suitability. Resolution The Forta series actuators are suitable for use on the V395 valve. The data sheet for V395 has the M800 listed as recommended actuator.

Issue In 2009, SVEA SE-843 was replaced by the SE-844 unit. What are the differences between these units? Environment SVEA SE-843 SE-844 43230-036 Warema LON SE III Cause Manufacturer Warema has updated the sensor unit in 2009. The former version SE-843 was a quite old product. Resolution The main differences/features are: Hardware: new housing (9 units) supply voltage for connected sensor changed from 12 VDC to 15 VDC additional input for combined senor (wind, brightness and DCF-77) real time clock serial EEPROM for error messages direct connection for key switch indication of DCF-77 reception via LED Software: all parameters configurable via CPs each object configurable separately type of most network variables changeable monitoring of wind sensors error messages permanently stored in the device large diagnose possibilities additional object for global irradiance sensor additional object for relative humidity additional switch object for detection of push-buttons These changes were made in 2009, since the 843 model was quite old. Also, in 2009, these products were no longer promoted or labeled by SVEA, and referred to the manufacturer Warema directly.

Issue With the V221 no longer available (withdrawn in 2004) a replacement valve is requested. Environment V221 VG221F V222 Cause Replacing existing installed V221 valves Resolution V221 can be replaced by VG221F and V222. Flange bolt pattern and measurements should be the same (designed according to DIN standards), and actuator (Forta) can be used with the exception of V222 DN125-DN150 where M22/M50 is required. Please see each products data sheet for more information and details.

Issue How calculate the accuracy? Environment SHD100: 006902320 006902321 SHD100-T: 006902330 006902331 Cause In the documentation, both "Accuracy" and "Temperature Dependence" is listed. The Temperature Dependence is varying (see data sheet for chart), while the Accuracy is constant across the scale. Resolution The Accuracy and Temperature Dependence needs to be added together in order to calculate the correct total accuracy/deviation.

Issue No Logging Databases Have Been Specified Environment Windows Cause No Logging Databases Have Been Specified. Resolution Log on to the Bas2800+ system Open Dataview From the menu select File then New From the menu select Data then Logging database. If there is a registered database in the Registered database Window you can select this. If the Registered database window is empty, press the Add button. Select the logging database you wish to use. (Default database "BAS2800.DBS" is installed with the software.) Press the OK button to select the database. On the Logging database Window press the OK button to assign the logging database. The error message should disappear.

Issue Request for Schneider Electric replacement actuator Environment Belimo BF24-T damper actuator Cause Customer wants to replace Belimo actuator with Schneider Electric equivalent Resolution Unfortunately, Schneider Electric does not have any matching actuator.

Issue In our portfolio we currently only list VF208 series valves with elongated wafer type eyelets  Environment VF208L VF208W Cause Applications sometimes requires a valve with lugs instead. Resolution VF208 valves with lugged flanges are available on request. Please contact Product Management or Order Entry for information on ordering this option. Issue The data sheet only lists AC power supply as an option when using the 0-10V output signal Environment SHD100 006902320 SHD100-T 006902330 Cause Sensor configuration options. Resolution For a transmitter the operating (normal) current is at once the measuring signal. If a rectified output is requested this means that DC voltage as supply voltage is required.

Issue Since the M5/M15 series actuator is no longer available, a replacement actuator is requested.  Environment M15 M9B TRV mounting kit 8600991000 Cause Replacing obsolete actuator. Resolution M9B together with the TRV mounting kit should work.

Issue Which actuator is suitable for the MG221F valve when modulating control signal (0-10V) is required? Environment VG221F M800 M1500 Forta Cause There are a few different actuators listed in the VG221F documentation, but not all of them are available with modulating 0-10V control signal.  Resolution The Forta M800 and M1500 are both listed as suitable actuators for the VG221F, and both are capable of using the modulating 0-10V control signal.

Issue Since the Forta M500B actuator is no longer available in our portfolio, a replacement is requested. Environment TAC Forta M500B M400 M800 Cause Replacing old, obsolete actuator. Resolution Depending on valve size and required force, Forta M400 or M800 are the recommended replacement actuators.

Issue Where can I find the SE7000 Room Controller LonMaker Plug-Ins and device resource files? Environment SE7000 Series Room Controller Cause Plug-ins and device resource files required for interface into LON network management tools (e.g. Echelon LonMaker, etc.). Resolution The files are available for download from the Exchange Extranet.
