Issue CZU4201 not controlling. Always in cooling mode. Environment CZU4201 CZU DRT3451 STR611 STR612 STR Cause The CZU controller is not controlling. Resolution A DRT3451, STR611 or a STR612 is used as both temperature sensor and setpoint adjust. Check that the internal setpoint adjust within the controller is set 10'C. If not, set it to 10'C, then the internal setpoint is ignored and the remote setpoint is used.

Environment V354 (7315425000) V355 (7315529000) M52L (8522320000) EM52L (8522221000) EM52L-4 (8522210000) MC52A (8532221010) Cause Due to the design of the V354 and V355 valves, a specific type of actuator is necessary. Resolution MC52A, part no. 8532221010, is designed for use as a replacement actuator. It is delivered together with an adapter to fit the V354 valve.

Issue Choosing the correct range of sensor is important in order to provide the most accurate value. Environment SPD310 SPD360 Cause Only the max value is specified for each range. How low is the lowest accurate value? Resolution The reasonable minimum pressure in the 100Pa range should be equal or greater than 40Pa (typically), otherwise the max. error becomes bigger.

Differences in packing material used on V241/V341 connection kits

Issue There are 2 different packing types available for ordering when choosing connections for the V241/V341 Environment V241 V341 Cause There is a difference in material used in the gaskets included with the connection packages. Resolution The "Packing, std" is a standard type gasket. "Packing, spec" is intended to be used in primary circuit district heating applications. Material in gasket is PTFE.

Replacement for V355

Issue V355 is obsolete since 2002 Environment V355 VZ22 VZ32 MZ18 MZ10 Cause V354 and V355 was made obsolete in 2002. No direct replacement is available. When replacing the V355, the actuator must also be replaced. Resolution V355 is replaced by a VZ32, or VZ22 (2 port) depending on application. Pipe work is required as the ports are placed differently. Replacing the actuator is also necessary. VZ*2 is using the MZ18 or MZ10 actuator.

Issue The V395-1 is obsolete and no longer available Environment V395: 7319501000 7319505000 7319509000 7319513000 7319515000 7319519000 V321: 7312153010 7312157010 7312161010 7312165010 7312169010 TAC Forta Cause The V395 valve is obsolete and no spare parts or direct replacement valves are available. Resolution The closest suitable valve is the V321 with a Forta actuator. The "A to AB" measurements are the same, but the "A-AB centerline to B flange" is different. Double check the data sheets for more information and details. Keep in mind that V395-1 is PN25, while the V321 is PN16.

Issue In 2009, SVEA SE-843 was replaced by the SE-844 unit. What are the differences between these units? Environment SVEA SE-843 SE-844 43230-036 Warema LON SE III Cause Manufacturer Warema has updated the sensor unit in 2009. The former version SE-843 was a quite old product. Resolution The main differences/features are: Hardware: new housing (9 units) supply voltage for connected sensor changed from 12 VDC to 15 VDC additional input for combined senor (wind, brightness and DCF-77) real time clock serial EEPROM for error messages direct connection for key switch indication of DCF-77 reception via LED Software: all parameters configurable via CPs each object configurable separately type of most network variables changeable monitoring of wind sensors error messages permanently stored in the device large diagnose possibilities additional object for global irradiance sensor additional object for relative humidity additional switch object for detection of push-buttons These changes were made in 2009, since the 843 model was quite old. Also, in 2009, these products were no longer promoted or labeled by SVEA, and referred to the manufacturer Warema directly.

Issue With the V221 no longer available (withdrawn in 2004) a replacement valve is requested. Environment V221 VG221F V222 Cause Replacing existing installed V221 valves Resolution V221 can be replaced by VG221F and V222. Flange bolt pattern and measurements should be the same (designed according to DIN standards), and actuator (Forta) can be used with the exception of V222 DN125-DN150 where M22/M50 is required. Issue How calculate the accuracy? Environment SHD100: 006902320 006902321 SHD100-T: 006902330 006902331 Cause In the documentation, both "Accuracy" and "Temperature Dependence" is listed. The Temperature Dependence is varying (see data sheet for chart), while the Accuracy is constant across the scale. Resolution The Accuracy and Temperature Dependence needs to be added together in order to calculate the correct total accuracy/deviation.

Bas 2800+ message "No Logging Databases Have Been Specified".

Issue No Logging Databases Have Been Specified Environment Windows Cause No Logging Databases Have Been Specified. Resolution Log on to the Bas2800+ system Open Dataview From the menu select File then New From the menu select Data then Logging database. If there is a registered database in the Registered database Window you can select this. If the Registered database window is empty, press the Add button. Select the logging database you wish to use. (Default database "BAS2800.DBS" is installed with the software.) Press the OK button to select the database. On the Logging database Window press the OK button to assign the logging database. The error message should disappear.
