Drayton DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller - Reset to Default Values procedure.

Issue DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller requires resetting to default values due to exposure to electrical corruption. Environment DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller installed to control Variable Temperature Mixing Valve, Boiler/s, Pumps etc. 2100H DC 2100 Cause DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller has been exposed to electrical corruption. Resolution DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller may be reset to default values as follows :-  Isolate power to Controller. Open Door of Controller. Locate PCB on rear of Controller Door. Locate pair of Steel Pins (marked PL1) on PCB. Link out pair of Steel Pins for 10 seconds approx. Remove Link. Close Door of Controller. Reinstate power to Controller. Re-programme Controller. Re-programming procedure for the DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller may be viewed here. Should the above reset to default values procedure fail to enable the DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller to be re-programmed then replacement of the Controller may need to be considered. POSSIBLE REPLACEMENT  The most common control application to which theDC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller may be applied comprises the following combination of inputs and outputs.  Outside Air Temperature Sensor Inside Air Temperature Sensor Compensated Heating Temperature Sensor Variable Temperature Heating Circuit Valve Actuator Boiler/s (2 maximum) H W S On/Off output (independent) Should such inputs and outputs be confirmed then the DC1100 Optimiser / Compensator may be installed in place of the DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller. Details of the DC1100 Optimiser / Compensator Controller may be viewed here. Drayton A7xx series Sensors connected to the DC2100 Optimiser / Compensator Controller are compatible with the DC1100 Optimiser / Compensator Controller and may therefore be retained. N.B. It should be noted that where a DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller is included in an installation of a more complex nature then an alternative solution utilizing different products may need to be considered In such installations not only will the DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller need to be replaced but its associated Sensors will also need to be replaced. Resolutions to such installations may best be determined following a review of the control system installed by a member of the local Schneider Electric office.

Environment DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller installed to control Variable Temperature Mixing Valve, Boiler/s, Pumps etc. Cause Obsolescence of DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller. Resolution OVERVIEW DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controllers are flexible with regard to the number and type of electrical inputs and outputs to which they may be connected, enabling the Controller to be applied to a wide range of control applications.  Of the DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller models manufactured, the final version was the DC2100H Overview details of the DC2100H Optimiser / Compensator Controller may be viewed here. INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING In view of the numerous control applications to which the DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller may be applied, numerous wiring connection variations will also apply. Please therefore check the number of inputs and outputs connected to the DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller installed before proceeding, as this will assist in determining the suitability of the possible replacement Controller suggested below. Installation and Commissioning details of the DC2100H series Optimiser / Compensator Controller may be viewed here. N.B. It should be noted that where a DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller is included in an installation of a more complex nature then an alternative solution utilizing different products may need to be considered. In such installations not only will the DC2100 series Optimiser / Compensator Controller need to be replaced but its associated Sensors will also need to be replaced. Resolutions to such installations may best be determined following a review of the control system installed by a member of the local Schneider Electric office.

Is there a way to determine who is actively logged into CyberStation and onto which workstation?

Issue How to determine who is logged into the Continuum system and onto which workstation? Product Line Andover Continuum Environment CyberStation Cause Is it possible to see via a Listview or Pinpoint who is logged into Continuum and onto which workstation?   Resolution There is no "live" means to see who is logged into what workstation. However, a listview of ActivityEvent filtered by today and action code 15 and 16 and auto-refreshing every 30 seconds is pretty close. This listview will show what user logged in and when to which workstation. It will show the same information for users logging off. So one can deduce who is currently on which workstation. Simply download and unzip this dump file and import it into the root of Continuum Explorer and run it.

For Belimo Tri-State motors with ASCs

Issue The Actuator is responding as though it is receiving a continuous signal from the ASC. Environment I/NET software all versions I/NET ASC controllers Cause The triac device on these ASCs have a bleed voltage value even though the signal is in the Off mode. Thus causing the motor to drive to one end of the stroke and stop. Resolution See Tech Tip No. G075 which describes a procedure to correct this issue.

Controlli S300 Actuator

Issue Controlli S300 Actuator Environment Controlli S300 Actuator Cause Controlli S300 Actuator terminal details. Resolution L=Neutral L'=230Vac B=Close signal from thermostat or control device R=230V to thermostat or control device V=Open signal from thermostat or control device To test: Place a wire link between R and B, the valve actuator will close, place a wire link between R and V, the valve actuator will open. If a auxiliary switch kit D22 is fitted, this can be used to signal the boiler/pump to start if the installation was a domestic. For the actuator datasheet click here.
