Schneider Electric H909HV-S6 current transformer, does not change state.

Issue Status does not change. Environment CT current transformer H909HV-S6 Cause Although current flow is present, the current transformer status does not change. Resolution This issue was caused by the incorrect wiring between the Current Transformer and the DDC controller. To clarify this, please see below. The drawing shown as part of the installation instructions appears to show that four connections to the DDC controller are required, this is not connect, only two are required. The status output connections consist of two terminal sets, but only one connection is required from each. To download the H909HV-S6 datasheet please click HERE.

TA STL-SR Valves

Issue Replacement actuator for the STL-SR valve Product Line Field Devices Environment STL-SR Cause Replacement actuator for a STL-SR valve Resolution A M800 actuator or MV15B-24 or MV15B-230 actuator can be used to replace the actuator on the STL-SR valve series. Click here for the STL-SR datasheet. Notes: The original actuator e.g. M5CP, may have had a potentiometer fitted to provide position feedback to the controller. There is no direct replacement, the controller, actuator and valve may have to be changed. As a workaround, The M800 provides a 2-10V feedback, using a signal conditioner this could be converted to a resistive feedback. The original actuator may have had end switches fitted, order end switches to suit the replacement actuator. The M800 when used in floating control mode (dip switch 2= On) requires 4 wires. The original actuator used 3 wires to provide floating control.

Video Monitor supported features and how to configure it on a Continuum Workstation

Issue Information on the features that Video Monitor supports and details on how to configure it on a Continuum Workstation. Product Line Andover Continuum Environment Continuum v1.90 and above. Cause There does not seem to be a specific manual for Video Monitor. Resolution What Is Video Monitor? Video Monitor is CyberStation's powerful video-surveillance tool. Video Monitor, available in CyberStation Version 1.9 and higher, allows you to view live and recorded video images from cameras assigned to doors or points that trigger alarm events. It allows you to monitor doors, immediately capture video images from doors, unlock a door, monitor door status, monitor a person's access to doors, and get alarm information as soon as it happens. You customize the way Video Monitor operates using its powerful configuration tool, Video Administrator. Using Video Administrator, you can attach up to 16 cameras to a door or point. Video Monitor is launched when an event associated with the door or point triggers an alarm. Another video surveillance monitoring tool, VideoLayout, is also available for video matrix-frame viewing. The system may be configured to use either Video Monitor or Video Layouts as your primary video interface to alarms. Also see reference to supported features in the Feature Blast for v1.90 when Video Monitor was first added to Continuum. Configuration There is a large amount of information in the Continuum on-line help files that discuss how to configure Video Monitor in detail. See the Continuum online help contents and search for "Video Monitor."   Note: The Video Monitor option must be enabled on the Continuum Security Key to able to set this up and use it. This comes standard in v1.90 and above and can be enabled on your Key if it is not already.

On a SIM-MTECH, the 'Space Static Pressure Setpoint' does not map from the McQuay controller accurately.

Issue Using the SIM-MTECH manual (F-26133-2) for reference, the Read/Write range of "Space Static Pressure Setpoint' on page A-45 displays as 0 to 5.0 "WC.  But the displayed setpoint does not match the value in the McQuay controller.  And, in general terms, any space static is never as high as 5.0 "WC. Environment SIM-MTECH Cause The manual contains a typo. Resolution The above-mentioned space static pressure setpoint range is actually -0.25 to +0.25 "WC. Keep this in mind as calculations are done to convert the unitless range of 0-250 to a value in "WC.

Need a function block program object that will perform a function similar to the I/A Series LON/BACnet Thermostat object.

Issue Programming an application that requires a setpoint and deadband that operates in the same manner as the WorkPlace Tech Tool Thermostat object. Environment SmartStruxure AS or ES Cause No object exists in the Function Block library that is functionally equivalent to the I/A Series WorkPlace Tech LON/BACnet "Thermostat" object.   Resolution This is only one of several methods by which a differential type thermostat object can implemented in Function Block programming. The following Binary Expression (XPB) function block object can be used to simulate the differential type thermostat. Analog Input A is the "Input" Analog Input B is the "Setpoint" Analog Input C is the "Input Differential" Binary Input d is the "State Feedback"  This feedback link insures that the output state does not change when the input is within the range specified by the input differential The output of this object turns on when the Input value exceeds the Setpoint + 1/2 of the Input differential. The output of this object turns off when the Input value falls below the Setpoint - 1/2 of the Input differential. The xml file can be downloaded from here.
