Hey - i have a wiser Multizone kit 2 which can control both water and heating. In my system i can heat the water on its own which is no issue, however when i turn on the CH without HW - the boiler does not fire:
HW ON / CH OFF = Boiler fires and heats water only (pass)
HW ON / CH ON = Boiler fires heats both water and radiators (pass)
HW OFF / CH ON = Nothing (fail)
HW OFF / CH OFF = Nothing (pass)
My old controller (Horstmann CentaurPlus C21) also heated water on its own, however when the heating was turned on - it automatically turned on the water to fire the boiler.
This is not a major issue as i can schedule the HW to kick in at the same time as the CH, but it is annoying and removes the ability for me to have room temperature controlled heating, is there any way to have the hot water link to the heating so that when the heating kicks in the HW also goes on to fire the boiler like my old controller? This would resolve my issue.
Thanks so much in advance!

This is surely a wiring issue?

It sounds like this is an old gravity-fed system where the room thermostat only controlled the central heating pump. Old programmers used to have a jumper for gravity or pumped systems, but Drayton state that the Wiser system is not compatible with gravity-fed systems.
