Wiser TRV Channel
Having fitted a Wiser system to a 2 zone plus HW system I’m after more info on a TRV ‘channel’.
The main downstairs room thermostat is in the lounge which has 3 radiators in it (no TRVs fitted) If the Room stat demands heat, the boiler fires and the lounge warms up. Now I don't want all of the other downstairs TRVs to ask the boiler to fire when they individually demand heat, ie, kitchen cooler than TRV set point, but lounge room stat satisfied. At present, the lounge gets too hot.
Now when I go into settings I can select the Room channel between 1, 3 or none. However, when I select ‘none’ the TRV is no longer visible on my home page.
So, can I ask a TRV to not demand the boiler to fire even when not satisfied?
If not, does that mean I have to set every TRV below their sensed temp and does this therefore always drive each TRV fully closed? Surely not!!

Isn't what you require achievable with manual TRV's? i.e. have the radiators in the lounge with an iTRV on each controlled by the room thermostat and have manual TRV's on all their downstairs radiators which you set at their required maximum temperatures. This will only work if, as you have, there are 2 seperate heating zones.
