I'd like to use these products but having local control is a must-have for my IoT devices. Local control would allow for third-party integration. Devices that allow for this are able to obtain higher sales as this is a requirement for many users. As an example, Shelly allows local control on all of their devices, and many can be flashed with Tasmota or Esphome.

Does SE have any plans to allow for local control of the wifi devices in the Square D X Series?
