Had the wiser kit 2 se up by a recommended wiser heating engineer and everything worked fine for a couple of days. Now I can't control the heating using the app but I have noticed under the hubr settings the heat source type drop down box Is blank and when I select gas boiler it doesn't save the setting, it just goes blank again. Anyone e know how to remedy this and why it's happened?

The blank field seems to be a bug in V6.1.0 of the app. Mine is also blank and it won't bring up the menu to change it. When I try on another device running V5.4.2, it still shows "Oil Boiler" and will let me change it.
Though it's definitely a bug, I wouldn't have thought it matched your symptoms. What does "can't control the heating" mean in practice?

What i mean is the wiser app doesnt fire up the boiler, the only way to turn it on is to overide it by pressing the heatng button on the hubr. I just assumed the source type blank field had something to do with it because when the boiler and app was working okay, the source type was filled in correctly.

I had this problem: The options were not there in the app. rebooting my phone solved it!
