Is the EM4300 wireless meter only valid with 3P4W circuits?
If not can someone direct me to a wiring diagram?

Installation guide can be found here
User Guide can be found here.
This meter derives its control power from the L*N connection. So the EM4300 cannot support loads without a N.

Clear on the control power requirement for a Neutral. What about single phase circuits 1P2W in circuits closer to final distribution?

The OP mentioned single phase connection. We have an application for a 1PH3W, same as typical residential 220-240V systems. Can the EM4300 do this?
