Issue Architecture using Modicon M580 with PTP protocol (PMEGPS0100) and the solution accuracy Resolution The EcoStruxure architecture and platform is open and interoperable, as noted in this document. The transparency of the Modcion M580 ePAC controller enables multiple architectures without the need for switches while maintaining network transparency. As it is open and transparent, it allows the use of a third-party module from Monaghan (approved) using the PTP protocol to guarantee an accuracy of 1ms for the SOE (Sequence Of Events) digital inputs. Issue Need to create an easy integration of Modbus devices in EcoStruxure Automation Expert Resolution The Hardware CAT allows to integrate a fieldbus device, managing the communication parameters, the hardware abstraction layer, and the animated graphic symbol. Objective This article describes how to unpack a 16-Bit Analog value acquired via MODBUS communication, into its individual bit components that can then be used as an Array of 16 Digital states.
