Issue
Connecting your machine via IIoT gateway Modicon TM172SIx you want to be able to manage (monitor and control) it via SNMP, similar to other network devices.
Resolution
Thanks to SNMP configuration you can create objects that are provided by the TM172SI running as SNMP agent and can be polled by any SNMP manager. Additionally you can program traps (aka notifications) so the TM172SI can actively inform the manager about important changes.
