Issue
Automation devices with their DTM are typically managed by EcoStruxure™ Control Expert Classic from the DTM Browser at each controller's level. In a multiple controllers system architecture, users must manage the device configuration information individually from each of its *.STU file.
Resolution
With Topology Manager functionality, all automation Devices (with DTMs) can be managed very easily at the Topology Manager system level. This makes the device configuration independent from *.STU file. Moving away from the traditional EcoStruxure™ Control Expert Classic using the DTM Browser of each controller's level.
This article will show you how Topology Manager handles Device DTMs and their I/O profiles.
