Audible Alarm
The audible alarm is used to physically locate your UPS device. Sounding the alarm causes the device to beep for a few seconds. Click thePlaybutton to initiate the audible alarm.
If theRun New TestandPlaybuttons are disabled in the Web Portal, ensure that SmartConnect access is enabled on your Smart-UPS. This can be manually enabled via the UPS device’s LCD screen. For more information, consult your UPS manual. Your UPS manual can be viewed in theDocumentssection in theUPS Statuspage.
Once initiated, a diagnostic test will continue to run in the background until it has completed. Navigating away from theDiagnosticssection or theUPS Statuspage will not interrupt the self test or audible alarm.
