Hello,
I need to have the fault signal for loss of sync clock by IEC-61850. I used the DIA Time Sync Source signal, however when testing by disconnecting the GPS, the signal of this point does not change.
Please could you tell me which is the correct signal to use for the mentioned failure. The model of the meter is PM8000. PM8000 ION Setup

Hello @nilton ,
Can you please confirm how your meter is setup. What are the clock module settings? If using IRIG-B what are the digital input settings for the port in question. Please note I cannot see the image you attached to your message.

Charles

Hello @Charles_Murison ,
The module is configured by NTP. Attached in this message the images.

Hello @nilton,
With NTP, the Diagnostic module time sync status does not update as this register is GPS specific. Note that the time sync count and time since time sync register also do not update when meter is set to NTP.
Currently there is no way to feed into IEC61850 the NTP status.

Hello @Charles_Murison ,
What protocol and signal should I use to be able to have the time synchronization failure signal from the PM8000 meter?

Hello @nilton
I believe if you have GPS receiver connected to the serial port of the meter and communicating with GPS communications that the meter supports.
GPS: Truetime/Datum 2
GPS: Arbiter 2
GPS: Arbiter-Vorne 2
2 – These protocol settings are used for connecting to a GPS receiver communicating in serial ASCII format.

Charles
