Remote Operations Release Announcement
Hello Remote Operations Community,
Remote Operations is pleased to announce the release of Realflo™ 7.11 Flow Computer for SCADAPack™ Smart RTUs.
Realflo Flow Computer is a software solution that works in tandem with SCADAPack Smart RTUs to provide gas and liquid flow measurement for well test, allocation measurement, production optimization, and well pad control.
Realflo 7.11 introduces support for carbon dioxide (CO2) flow runs and flow density calculations using NIST 14. The NIST 14 standard is typically used for the measurement of CO2-rich mixtures with support for the entire phase spectrum of CO2 - gas, liquid, and two phases.
The management of carbon by operators is a requirement in oil and gas operations. Realflo 7.11 helps operators by providing custody transfer measurement for CO2 using V-cone or orifice plates that is compliant with NIST 14, AGA-3 and API 21. With the addition of NIST 14 and support for CO2 flow runs, the SCADAPack x70 becomes an even more flexible and powerful RTU that can also be used for other wellhead and pipeline control and monitoring applications using IEC 61131-3 logic.
Key features include:
• Flexible, rugged, and powerful platform that can support up to 20 flow runs with IEC 61131-3 logic
• Easy-to-use environment for configuration, diagnostics, and field capture of flow data
• Flexible and Powerful - tailor our solution to fit your specific needs with additional SCADAPack control capacity
• API 21.1 and 21.2-compliant audit trails and flow calculations facilitate data capture and reporting
• Multi-variable sensor/transmitters provide high accuracy measurements directly to the flow computer
• Realflo 7.11 also adds Modbus™ driver support for the IMP10S multi-variable transmitter.
The software may be downloaded from the Schneider Electric Exchange Shop page <here>.
It is recommended that prior to installing or upgrading your software version, you read the release notes available from the aforementioned Exchange Shop page (Docs and Videos tab).
