ION7400 historical data management

Hello everyone, nice to meet you.

From Chile, I have the following question regarding the management of the historical data stored by the ION7400 analyzer. Is it possible to manage this historical information and calculate the maximum value of any recorded variable for the month between specific times? This variable must be reset each month.

For example, bring the maximum variable (Current) for the month, which occurred between 10:00 and 11:00.

I understand that the meter can be programmed with the ION Setup tool, but I don't know if it has these programming capabilities, as it is a very specific task.

Thank you very much.

The ION meter doesn't have any meaningful access to its own logged data.  That said, I can picture an ION framework using a Time of Use Module to enable a Maximum Module to store the maximum value during that period, then reset every month using the Clock module.

This is a rather advanced task requiring the use of Advanced ION Setup mode (or, better, PME's Designer application).  I recommend you familiarize yourself with that as well as the modules in the ION Reference before attempting this on a production meter.

Hi @RicardoMiranda

You can also refer to the following existing topic in the Exchange Community on a similar subject, I hope it helps:

how to find the maximum current draw in a month in PM8000

As for retrieving the maximum value of a variable (Current) for the month, specifically between 10:00 and 11:00, other modules such as Time Of Use or Arithmetic Modules are needed to configure frameworks that measure for example the demand values for that specific time periods.

Best Regards,

-Mehran

Get into the ION Reference study the Scheduler Module, Maximum module.

You may use ION Setup Advance mode or Designer, for me I prefer Designer.

The TOU can be use but it might interfere the TOU setting.
