Hello,
I would like to read historical data from my ION7400 device using my own software. Previously, I had read 10-minute historical data from my ION7650 device starting at Modbus address 3001. However, the Modbus map of the ION7400 device seems different.
When I reviewed the Modbus map, it indicated that the Data Recorders are between register addresses 53001-53153. However, I couldn't find any information when I checked these register addresses. Could you please help me with this?
Best regards.

Hello @furkanyilmaz ,
What all information are you trying to see? And, do you need to see several records at once or just the most recent?
You can use the trending & forecasting modules to trend data points over time on the web server. You can't download them, but can be used to see the data over a period of time.
You can also setup store module to work in parallel with data recorders and map them to Modbus or DNP and view data that way. There is a limited number of store modules in the meter and many are already in use by the default frameworks. You may have to make some adjustments per your needs. You can also have successive stores to you could setup several store modules to hold the past X periods equal to number of store modules. Map these to modbus and you can create a custom map to view the data records in questions.
Example: Data Recorder 1 is monitoring 4 channels {kWh del, kWh rec, kVARh del, kVARh rec} with a 15 minute periodic timer. You want to be able to see past 4 periods so you would need to use 4 store modules in total.
Store 1 will have Preview Interval (PI), Store 2 will have PI2, Store 3 will have PI3 and Store 4 will have PI4.
Setup the triggers so the periodic time module is tied to DR1 Record and ST4 Store inputs. ST4 Complete will trigger ST3 Store, ST3 Store Complete will trigger ST2 Store, and ST2 Store Complete will trigger ST1 Store.
If monitoring interval values tie ST1 Store Complete to the feedback module that resets the store instead of Data Recorder 1 Record Complete. All these triggers happening within a second, and ST1 Store Complete is likely the last of all the triggers in sequence.
Then map the store modules to Modbus or DNP and you can essentially recreate data recorder records with Modbus and DNP. You may want a similar store value that holds the UTC time as well when exporting. This will also be limited on depth, and you aren't reading the data recorder directly rather simultaneously stored data.
Also, there are some 3rd party options for ION Data Recorder collections like Primeread and MV90, and similarly our PME software does the same thing.

Hello @furkanyilmaz ,
I am a little confused, you said at the start, you are looking for historical data. DLMS will give you Historical data but only what is programmed in the DLMS export modules. Have you had a chance to read https://www.se.com/ca/en/download/document/7EN22-0123/ ?
Sadly I cannot see the images you have in your post. Are you able to possibly attach rather than embed?

Charles

Hello @furkanyilmaz ,
Sad to say that the data recorder read via modbus has not been implemented on the ION7400 at this time. The map has the registers blocked off for possible future implementation.

Hello,
How can I read historical logged data using third-party software other than Modbus?
Best regards,

Hello @furkanyilmaz ,
At this time the other protocol the meter supports that can be 3rd party to get logged data is, DLMS.
ION is the preferred method but ION is propriety protocol.
There is the log export module that exists on the meter but this is more of a push (via smtp) rather than poll/response. Refer to the ION reference for more information.

Charles

Hello @N4th4n13L @Charles_Murison ,
I looked at the past recorded data using the DLMS Protocol, but I can only see 15-minute data, and I can view the average active/reactive power values. However, the parameters I need are as follows, for example, Ia, Ib, Ic, VII ab, VII bc, ...;
The data you see in the 1st and 2nd visuals are the data I want to access. Also, I should be able to retrieve the data from the device when I want to get the data for the last month, rather than as a real-time recorder.
@N4th4n13L , what you mean is that I should set up the Modbus map for the ION7400 device myself through IONSetup, as in the ION7650; have I understood correctly?
Best regards.
