The WMIC utility must be installed on new Windows 11 systems before you install EcoStruxure IT Gateway. Note: Older Windows 11 versions that were updated to 24H2 may already have WMIC installed.
This release replaces a certificate that enables device library updates. The Gateway must be at a minimum of version 1.23.1 to receive new device library updates. See How to update the Gateway device library

Two new state sensors
Two new sensors are displayed on the device's details page IT Expert.
Gateway Communication Status - protocol
This sensor is available for every discovered device: SNMP, Modbus, NetBotz, Redfish.
Example: Gateway communication status: NetBotz
Gateway File Transfer Status
This sensor is created when the communication protocol used by the device is available.
Protocol settings must be configured and enabled on the device.
Device communication settings configured on the Gateway and on the device must match.
If settings don't match or communication settings are not configured on either the device or the Gateway, the sensor is not created.
A update of PostgreSQL prevents EcoStruxure IT Gateway version 1.23 and newer from being installed on CentOS 7 or RHEL 7.
Attempts to update an existing Gateway to version 1.23 will fail.
For existing Gateway installations, deploy a new Gateway 1.23 on a supported Linux operating system. To retain sensor history, follow these instructions:
