Manually update Gateway DDFs
Gateways not configured for auto-update require an Administrator user to manually initiate the device library update in EcoStruxure IT.
Gateways configured for auto-update require an Administrator user to manually initiate the device library update when a new version of the device library is available independent of a Gateway software release.
Note: The Update button is not available when both the Gateway software and the device library are up to date.
Log in and go to Administration > Gateways.
Click Update on the Gateway's tile as you would for a Gateway software update.
You'll be prompted to install the type of update available, either a Gateway software update or a device library update.
The Gateway software update is always presented first. If a device library update is also available, it will be presented after the Gateway software is updated.
The new Gateway software version and/or the new device library version will appear on the Gateway's tile.
