Has anyone setup a pulse input on a PM5340 meter?
I have a customer asking if a gas meter pulse can be connected to the status input of the PM5340.
If so, how do you configure the PM5340 to read the pulse input from a gas meter.

Hello @kbeal_c-cgroup_ ,
According to user guide, this is not possible to use PM5340 Status Inputs as an external counter.
"Status inputs are typically used for monitoring the status of external contacts or circuit breakers."
To configure the Digital Input, please use front face buttons or ION Setup.

Thanks for the response Romain. It looks like I would need a PM8000 with the option board to read a digital input as a pulse for a gas meter. To bad the PM5340 doesn't have the capabilities of the option board.
