Hello, reading the manual for the ION9000 meter and some other Schneider Electric equipment, they recommend using fuses for the meter power and for the connection of the voltage lines. I would like to know if there is any type of recommended fuse (slow, fast, ultra fast). Personally, I use a fuse-holder terminal block with glass fuses, since ceramic fuses take up much more space. However, I would like a formal recommendation of the type of fuse to use for better meter protection. Thank you.

The installation manual recommends a 2A trip rating... all the other fuse specs are left up to the electrical installer familiar with the installation-specific details and local electric code.
The ION9000 power supply was designed with an active inrush limiter to avoid nuisance trips such that it shouldn't matter which speed type is used. Faster fuses generally provide better protection while slower ones may experience fewer nuisance trips.

Hello @DanL ,
Any thoughts on recommendations regarding the type of fuse (slow, fast, ultra fast) for the control power and voltage connections.
Regards,
Charles
