Hello everyone.
I am currently testing a data log export procedure for a PM5563 and I am having some issues.
I am using a PM5563 with v4.4.8 Firmware. I am running the PM5KDataLogger.exe, as instructed by a manual posted in this community a while back, and all other IIS-related routines that access the 443 port are stopped.
The HTTP settings I have configured in the meter as shown below:
The parameters can be saved, no issues there, but when I click the "Test HTTP" button I get a timeout message and the test fails.
Am I missing any configuration before running the PM5KDataLogger.exe? Should the IIS site accessing the 443 port be running alongside this application?
Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi @Raciunas
Here are a few items I would check:
1- Make sure the Server IP Address (192.168.1.2) is reachable from the PM5563. Try pinging this IP from another device on the same network.
2- Port 443 which is typically used for HTTPS, ensure that no firewall or antivirus is blocking this port on your laptop. If you're not running a secure web server on port 443, for test, try disabling SSL and using port 80 instead.
3- If you're not using a proxy, leave both fields completely blank (not even 0.0.0.0).
4- You mentioned stopping IIS-related services to prevent any port conflicts, and make sure no other application is using port 443 (e.g., VPNs or other web servers).
5- Ensure the credentials (user, pass) are accepted by the server at 192.168.1.2. If you're testing locally, you may not need authentication unless your server is configured to require it.
Best Regards,
-Mehran
