Hello!
There is a problem with the PM5100 series power meter. The customer is trying to configure the meter, but for some reason the default password “0” does not work. It is unlikely that someone changed the password, as the meter is new and no one could have done so. The instructions say that to reset the password, the meter must be returned to factory settings, but this requires contacting technical support for further instructions. Can you help with this problem?

If the front panel default password '0' does not work(4-digit 0000 is for Revenue Lock password), even on a new meter, this may be due to intentional changes made by someone else or a very rare firmware/configuration anomaly. You can Power cycle the meter by disconnecting and reconnecting the power to see if it clears any temporary lockout.
The new versions of the PM5100 series do not have a user-accessible factory reset. Therefore, you must contact local tech support for further assistance and to initiate the process of returning the meter for factory reconfiguration.
