Dear All Expert,
We will face a testing on Interoperability Test for ION8650 meter which will be carried out by the research and development center of PLN (government company) in Indonesia.
One of the tests is on the DC Auxiliary Power where later it will be tested by doing the opposite polarity whether the ION8650 will work or not or the ION meter power supply component will be damaged.
The target of this test is, even though the user when wiring the DC Auxiliary Power is reversed the polarity, but the power supply component of the ION8650 is expected to have no problems.
If the ION8650 Power Supply damage, then the Interoperability Test result will failed.
Any experience on this?
Need advice so we can prepare the necessary for this testing.
Best regards,
Parlindungan Sitorus.

Both available ION8650 Auxiliary Power Supply order options (H and J) are rated for either AC or DC operation. Their design includes a full wave bridge rectifier and is fully tolerant to polarity reversal.
Please ensure the applied DC voltage falls within the rated DC operation range for the meter order option being tested.
