According to the latest ION9000 user manual, 7NEN02-0390-05, the METSERD192 display has the following USB and optical ports:
ANSI C12.18 optical port
IEC 1107 optical port adapter
USB host port: TypeA USB
USB device port: Mini-B USB
Is there an update on these ports, whether they are functional or not?
If yes, which firmware version or batch of units can we expect to have these features?

Hello Ken,
The ION9000 has a remote display RS192 and I will assume you are talking about this display. The answer is, not yet the ports you mentioned do not currently work and any version of firmware. Part of future development. Sadly I cannot give you an exact eta for these features.
Regards,
Charles

Hi @Charles_Murison,
Is there any new news regarding this? I have several clients who need to use the optical port on the screen.
Thanks

Hello @danielbarrantes ,
At this time no new update, optical port on RD192 display still does not work. Optical port on integrated display of ION7400 does.

Ok, thanks. Regarding the LED lights for calibration and the USB port on the front screen, they are also disabled, right?
The context is the following: The client would like to make use of the front elements of the RD192 display since the METSEION92030 meter is located inside an electrical cabinet sealed by the electric billing company and there is no physical access for calibration or data extraction on the part of the client, therefore, the use of RD192 on-screen communication is essential.
Greetings.

Hello,
Correct, at this time the USB and LED lights do not function from Remote display.

Charles
