Hi All,
We were testing ION9000 Transient Module and found that no “Detection Mode” option in the setup register. We have tried v003.001.000 and v004.000.000, but neither of them has. Does anyone know the reason? Thanks

Hi @Stuart_Cheng
‘Detection Mode’ is not present on all meters except ION8650 meters at this time and by default the ‘Waveshape’ method of Detection Mode is used with ION9000/PM8000/ION7400 meters.
Also there is one NOTE statement under each modules in ION Reference indicating:

Hi @Mehran_Mehrnia,
Many thanks for your reply. May I know the reason why the detection mode is only designed for ION8650? Thanks

Hello @YonKhoerul ,
Short answer is ION8650 and ION9000 have different code and are not part of the same platform. If you need this feature, contact your sales team to work with them to create a feature request.

Charles
