I have a customer looking to upgrade some fairly ancient PM5560 meters, and there is a some confusion on the complete upgrade path. Based on the meter's User Manual (Firmware upgrades - PM5500 (schneider-electric.com), the FTP server is used for firmwares 2.0 and up. This document doesn't even mention DLF-3000:
However, FA237920 (Video: Firmware upgrade on a PM800, PM5XXX, PM200, PM700, CM4000/T, CM3000 and CM2000 series meters ...) states that DLF-3000 should be used up to version 1.01:
I understand the customer has several meters in the 1.X range, and I'd like to know whether they should use DLF-3000 or the FTP server for upgrades.
Thanks!

Hello @RobGraham,
Please check this FAQ.
If the meter's FW is earlier than Firmware V1.01.00, then download V1.01.00 and see FA237920 for a walkthrough on upgrading using DLF-3000.
Once the meter is in FW 1.01.0 (or newer), you can upgrade to FW 2.3.0 using the FTP method.
Regards,
JD
