Sirs.
I have an ION8600 type C meter in which the master modbus module did not come. Is there any tamplate or firmware or module inclusion that can enable the Modbus Master of the ION 8600 Meter???
Or is there a way to use modbusSlave to read TCP/IP data?
Thank you in advance

Hello @darkenwald ,
ION8600C does not support Modbus Read/Write modules. There is no way to upgrade meter in field to 8600B from 8600C.
Regards,
Charles

Hello @darkenwald , the modbus slave module maps ION registers to modbus addresses. Cannot be used to read modbus registers from other devices.

Hello @darkenwald ,
Modbus Slave module is for read only. The external numeric, external pulse and external Boolean modules have a modbus address that can be used to write a value to a meter. Different meters have different addresses, refer to meters modbus map.

Charles
