Hi All,
I received a custom request for ION9000. The customer wants to show a certain page when receiving a pulse signal.
From the description of the Display Module, it seems that we can achieve the function by using the “show input”. However, when I use the ION setup, I cannot find the “show input” option in the Display module
Any idea why the ION meter has no “show input” option or any suggestion on how to achieve the customer’s request? Thanks

Hello @Stuart_Cheng,
ION Reference is a great resource for ION modules but there is one line that has a lot of weight. "NOTE: The registers and settings available in this module depend on the device or node you are configuring, as well as its firmware and template versions. Not all registers or settings are available on all devices"
What this note is saying is that the document may include information that does not apply to your exact meter type.
For the display module, there was a huge shift between ION8650/ION8800/ION7x50/ION73xx and the ION9000/PM8000/ION7400. The older ION meters did have the input you are talking about. However the ION9000, PM8000, ION7400 changed how the display works which eliminated the need the input you are looking for.
There is no way I know of to do what the customer is looking in ION900/PM8000/ION7400.
Regards,
Charles
