Hi all,
I got a firmware update status on my PM8000 power meter. When I tried to update the firmware I got this "No device found". Can someone guide me
regarding this matter?
The connection is okay. Because I tried on ping IP address on CMD.
Thanks.

EPC (EcoStruxure Power Commission) only connects to ION devices using Modbus protocol and not ION as shown below when I tried to connect to one of the PM8000.
You will not be able to perform an upgrade to the PM8000 except using ION Setup software which requires an ION connection (via port 7700 or 7443 which likely will need to be opened through all routers/switches unless you plug directly into the device from a laptop).

Going forward, EPC will likely cover most configuration of Basic Metering products (Modbus based) while PLES (PowerLogic Engineering Suite) will cover most Advanced Metering products (ION) as ION Setup will at some point in the future likely go thru the obsolesces process. So don't expect any single software product to cover all required meter functionality any longer.

Hi @Dd4
EPC is supported by other team, but please make sure you are using the latest fw(Version: 2.31.0).
Does PM8000 come with inbuilt integrated Display or a Remote Display(RMD)?
Could you check meter's 'General' tab using ION Setup to see what firmware versions is running on the meter and if it has RD, what firmware version is running on Remote Display(RMD)?
Here is an example for ION9000:
If it comes with RMD and meter has old firmware version(e.g. lower than 2.1) and RMD has the recent ones(e.g. 4.0.15), chances are meter and RMD are not compatible and meter's firmware needs to be upgraded first through ION Setup.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
-Mehran
