Hello,
we are having opportunity to change competitor PMs for our PM5560.
We are going to measure 690V network.
Technical datasheet has range up to 690V, does it mean, that we can connect wires directly to PM?
Do we need to add any specific upstream protection for this connection?
Thanks for any kind of confirmation.
@Zelislav Venarsky.

Hi @MartinRichnak
As already mention in 'Direct connect voltage limits' section of PM5500 user guide:
"The meter's voltage measurement inputs are rated by the manufacturer for up to 400 V L-N / 690 V L-L. However, the maximum voltage allowed for direct connection may be lower, depending on the local electrical codes and regulations."
NOTE:
Use a 500 mA fuse or a circuit breaker for the meter voltage input terminals.
Best Regards,
