NetBotz DDF for Uniflair

Hi

We recently implemented the DDF file for Uniflair Leonardo in DCE

It seems to work well 😀

It seems that the same DDF file is NOT working in NetBotz device scan

Question is - How to get the DDF for NetBotz, if we have created this?

Hi Mogens,

I do not believe that NetBotz DDFs are being created at this time. For that, I'll defer to the DDF team if they're aware of any effort in that area.

I do know that the DCE DDFs are too big for the NetBotz appliances and won't work. I suggest removing that DDF and if you must poll the device with a NetBotz appliance, perhaps using the supplemental OID feature will get you the info you need.

As you probably already know, the DDFs for DCE and NetBotz are different. However, I don't think we are actively writing any new DDFs for NetBotz any more.

You confirm my expectation on NetBotz DDF, and probably it is rare that customers request this NetBotz SNMP scan feature for new devices.

Device support team only develops DDFs for DCE and gateway (StruxureOn). I will share you post/question with my developer contact at Netbotz.
