Hi All,
How quickly can a Symmetra PX UPS 2005 and 2007 Model pick up a loss of input voltage because one of my clients experienced a power dip lasting less than a second however the UPSs are not reflecting this loss of input voltage on the Logs.
Thank you!

What the end user sees in the event / data logs is determined by the logging interval. The logging interval can be defined in hours, minutes, seconds.
Using values in seconds will reduce the amount of time available to review. As such it’s imperative that the same data is sent to a Syslog server.
A NMS will provide more context as you’ll be able to monitor (chart) the different metrics over a longer period of time via SNMP / SNMP Traps.
NOTE: A UPS is not designed to provide a high level of accuracy or granularity relating to power quality. Only a certified power quality meter can offer this important information which every facility should have on site anyways! 👍

Hi @Teken
I came back to take down this post 6 minutes after posting it because I later picked up on the Logging Interval however I found your response. I appreciate the prompt feedback!
I will just leave the post here, in case some else needs this information!
Regards,
Tafadzwa.
