Network Management Card 3 (NMC3) v2.5.0 Firmware for Symmetra PX with AP9640/41/43 - Does not come with NMC Firmware Update Utility

Hi All,

I have picked up that for the NMC 3 Firmwares, for all other UPSs compatible with the AP964x NMC 3, the Firmware file comes as an executable file (.exe) except for the Symmetra PX which comes as a .nmc3 file therefore the Firmware does not come with an NMC Firmware Update Utility Application. 

I have tried upgrading the Firmware on AP9640 to be installed on a Symmetra PX UPS using the FTP Method as stipulated in the manual however this method is not working.

Any advice on how to go about upgrading the AP9640 for Symmetra PX with AP9640.

Any advice would be highly appreciated!

For anyone following this topic, please not the Firmware File on the apc website does not work. I had technical support send me the correct firmware.
