Ever since I installed Wiser I’ve had an issue with iTRVs not closing after the set point has been reached. Drayton diagnosed the issue has incompatible valve heads, i.e non Drayton. They came to this conclusion from photos I sent to them. So I changed two valves, one upstairs and one downstairs. The problem didn’t go away. Drayton then put the blame on my Wifi connection. I borrowed a wifi tester from work and checked the signal in every room. The worst signal was -60dBm. The signal at the hub was -52dBm. Even with this evidence Drayton still put the blame on my network, which is fully meshed by the way.
I’ve reached the point where I’m fed up with resetting valves to make them close and rooms overheating.
I would like to know if anyone else has experience this issue and have they managed to fix it.

If the iTRV closes when you twist the cap (blue light) and opens when you twist it the other way (red light), then I think you can say it functioning correctly mechanically.
Assuming that is the case, then you probably have Zigbee comms. issues. Zigbee operates on 2.4GHz and so can suffer interference from Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi always seems to win!). There is no (official) way of displaying which Zigbee channel is in use - and in any case, you can't change it. You could try arbitrarily changing the 2.4GHz channel of your Wi-Fi to see if it improves matters.
Otherwise, you will need to purchase a 'Smartplug', which acts as a Zigbee Repeater. (Zigbee Repeaters have to be mains-powered). Again, there is no (official) way of displaying the Zigbee signal levels (which would aid your purchasing decision...)

I have the same issue and have had a call open with Drayton for weeks, not getting far with it.
My bedroom is currently set at 17 degrees yet is 21 degrees with the radiator hot. So frustrating - there is an issue as it only started happening in the last month or so. It is also happening in other rooms. I have a home assistant setup and can see strong connections on the zigbee mesh.
When i reset the TRV it closes completely, then within 30 seconds opens itself again.
You're not alone and i'm pretty angry after the amount of money i've spent on this system, it's actually costing me more than my Hive. Support is weak at best.

Interesting you say that because our kitchen is the room that suffers the most with this phenomenon. Interesting because the iTRV has direct line of sight to the Hub and there’s also a smart plug in the room.

What SW version are you guys running? I am on ea64 and I don't have this issue. I have other issues though like the inaccurate temperature calculations.

By 'reset', do you mean re-calibrate?
If this phenomenon is repeatable, you could try temporarily shutting down Home Assistant and see if it still does it. You could also try with the Hubᴿ temporarily powered-off.
(I'm wondering if it's the valve itself that's gone bonkers, or HA telling the Hubᴿ to take some particular action - or possibly even the Hubᴿ itself. Trying fresh batteries would do no harm either.)
I don't know if the iTRVs act autonomously, or if they only follow commands from the Hubᴿ.
