As a new user of the Wiser system, I was quite surprised to wake up to a cold house on Sunday morning when my Wiser did not automatically change to British Summer Time. Even my last old fashioned programmer managed to do this.
Setting the time zone to London usually enough to tell the device. The only way I can see to change the time to BST is to set the time zone to CET?
Is there a setting I have missed

My Time Zone is set to UTC Dublin,Edinburgh,London and I didnt have a problem. I can see a gap in the heat reports for sunday between 1 and 2 am where it has jumped an hour.

Mine updated too - and it wasn't a foregone conclusion, since my Wiser is firewalled-off from the Internet...
Perhaps it uses your geographical location, rather than the Time Zone? The address entered in "Settings > Account > My Home" appear as latitude and longitude in the API.
There is also a setting returned by the API: "AutomaticDaylightSaving": true, but I can't find an equivalent setting in the App that controls it...

Strangely there doesn't appear to be a setting in the Wiser app for Daylight Saving (that I can find).
Others have been complaining of this same problem over on the Home Assistant Wiser forum. Fortunately, this setting is exposed by the Home Assistant integration where you can toggle it off/on, so not a problem if you're using Home Assistant. If you're not, I don't know how you can change the setting. I guess a call to Wiser support may be in order. I suspect they may be able to change it for you remotely if you provide your hub MAC address.
It's the same with the Valve Protection setting. This used to be exposed in the app, but was removed at some point in the past. I don't recall when exactly, but you can still change it in the Home Assistant integration.

Do you know the details for the implementation of the "Valve Protection" algorithm?
(I've noticed it in the API and in the product Data Sheet, but I don't recall ever seeing it in the App)
I did a bit of Wiresharking and watched what Home Assistant does to enable it, so I can turn mine on and off now too. I also seem to be able to turn AutomaticDaylightSaving on and off using the same mechanism (though I don't know why I would want to).
I wonder why the OP's system seems to have come with that disabled?

Thanks for the replies.
My Time Zone is set to UTC Dublin,Edinburgh,London, but I don't think I put my address in the app.
Oh well, only 7 months to wait to see if it works next time.
And thanks for the heads up on the home automation, it looks worthwhile looking into.

It doesn't have to be your address - just somewhere in the vicinity 😉. I think it's supposed to use it for weather compensation, but I'm not convinced.

When my Wiser did not immediately switch to British Summer Time on Sunday morning, I was pretty surprised as a new user of the Wiser system to awaken to a cold house. Even my previous traditional coder was able to accomplish this.
Usually, telling the gadget to use the London time zone is enough. Setting the time zone to CET is the only method that I can think of to change the time to BST.
Is there an option I'm overlooking?

Sorry, I don't. I believe it just periodically opens and closes the valves to stop the pins sticking, but I don't know how it determines when to do it or how often. My theory is that it was removed from the app because it was potentially causing faster battery drain when enabled and someone decided to just remove it because of this.

Thanks to all that mentioned Home Assistant. I have now installed it, and the 'Wiser Daylight Saving' option was unticked. I have now ticked it and put the time zone back to London, and the time is now showing correctly. Fingers crossed that the time changes automatically in the autumn.
It seems strange that this option is not in the app.
