Hi Andrew,

We do have an updated version of Micrologic driver which supports Micrologic E variant (which as Rob mentioned was released later). It is available in SEC in the following location:

[ION:E 6.0 SP1][SE Driver] Micrologic Driver

Is this in PME or some other software?  According to the information I have, a PowerLogic product ID of 15137 would be for a MicroLogic PM E-Type circuit breaker.

Hi Robert,

I have had another look, this time I looked at the Compact NSX XML file.

This lists three possible values for device type

  </ModbusInfo>

- <ModbusInfo IONHandle="4864" Name="FAC1 DeviceType" ModbusAddress="408716" RequestType="R" Format="UINT16" DefaultEnumValue="CompactNSX" CacheSpec="C" SetupReg="1" DisableNotAvailableCheck="0" ConfigWrite="1">

  <Enumeration Ordinal="15143" Value="CompactNSXa" />

  <Enumeration Ordinal="15144" Value="CompactNSXe" />

  <Enumeration Ordinal="15145" Value="CompactNSXe" />

  </ModbusInfo>

- <ModbusInfo IONHandle="4957" Name="DeviceType Display Name" ModbusAddress="408716" RequestType="R" Format="SINT16" DefaultEnumValue="CompactNSX" CacheSpec="D" DisableNotAvailableCheck="0" SetupReg="0" ConfigWrite="1">

  <Enumeration Ordinal="15143" Value="Micrologic A CompactNSX" />

  <Enumeration Ordinal="15144" Value="Micrologic E CompactNSX" />

  <Enumeration Ordinal="15145" Value="Micrologic EM CompactNSX" />

I also looked at the micrologic xml, this also only lists three possible values.

<ModbusInfo IONHandle="4864" Name="FAC1 Device Type" ModbusAddress="100:408716" RequestType="R" Format="UINT16" NotAvailableValue="-32768" SetupReg="1" DisableNotAvailableCheck="0" CacheSpec="" ConfigWrite="1">

  <Enumeration Ordinal="15131" Value="MicrologicA" />

  <Enumeration Ordinal="15133" Value="MicrologicP" />

  <Enumeration Ordinal="15135" Value="MicrologicH" />

This is a version 6 system, so is there a device type missing??

Cheers

Hi Andrew,

It looks like there is an unsupported device type there which is the MicroLogic E circuit breaker which might of come out after the driver was created.  I would contact Anirban Dhar who looks after the Device Drivers for PME to see if its OK to just modify the XML file and use the existing MicroLogic driver for ION:E 6 to communicate to that model.
