VarPlus Logic VL 6 firmware question

Hello, a customer asked me if the VarPlus Logic VL 6 firmware is upgradeable in the field, and if so, whether there are firmware release notes. I can't find any mention of firmware in the documentation, bFO, etc. so I'd assume not but wanted to double check. The customer's PME identified the VPL's firmware as version 001.000.002
