Which windows system ION Setup V3.0 install?

Most versions of ION Setup V3.0 (and presently 3.1) will run on Windows Vista or later.

Support for Windows XP (and earlier) are no longer supported (and those OSes are no longer receiving any updates from Microsoft so they are not recommended to be still in use as a result).

I've never seen a Windows 2007 server edition (there is a 2003 and a 2008).

The present version of ION Setup will operate on Windows 2008 Server R2 (assuming it has been kept up to date) but it will not operate on Windows 2003 Server (this is pre-XP release).

Going forward, future versions of ION Setup will likely drop Vista support and maybe even Windows 7 as Microsoft have already stopped supporting them (or soon will be).  2008 Server is early next year as well.

That is highly likely Windows Server 2008 as starting with Windows Server 2008 R2 Microsoft no longer offered 32 bit versions of their server operating systems.
