Sharing CTs - ION 7650
We have an LV board installation with an ION7650 at the main incomer.
This meter has a set of tropicalized for busbar 3000:5 A (accuracy class: Class 1 at 30VA).
We are aiming to install an Active Harmonic Filter unit at the board, however there is no physical space in the busbar to fit a separate set of CTs for the AHF.
One of the options we are considering is to share the CTs between the ION7650 and the AHF unit.
In terms of measurement accuracy, would this reduce the accuracy of the readings (error) at the ION7650/AHF?

Hello Jonathan,
In this question, the details matter. The burden rating of the CTs, the burden rating of the AHF and burden rating of the ION7650 meter. Hard to say without that information. Could be small and barely noticeable or could be very large.
Just remember that CTs would need to be connected in series. CT -> I11, I12 -> AHF I11, AHFI12 -> CT.
